The Resilience Project have been conducting emotionally engaging programs in schools for students, parents and teachers to acclaim Australia wide. Not only is The Resilience Project program in huge demand within schools, it is also currently being rolled out in all NRL and many AFL teams.
The Planner includes 12 months’ worth of repeated reflections and tasks that practice Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness to improve mental health and wellbeing, which are core to realising the long-term benefits of The Resilience Project program.
The Resilience Project Curriculum can be added to any Student Planner. These resources provide teachers and students with practical strategies to promote positive mental health. The lessons focus on Character strengths for the first lessons, then rotate through the themes of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy using film, books, stories, drama and activities to engage students. The lessons have been designed for teachers by an experienced team of Primary and Secondary school teachers, and are easy to read and deliver. All lessons are linked to the Victorian or Australian Curriculum
We encourage our schools undertaking the Resilience Project Curriculum to participate in a Resilience Survey conducted by Resilent Youth Australia pre and post the annual programs. Through their Safe, Healthy and Fulfilling Framework, and the 10 domains that comprise resilience, it offers you insights into your student’s lives within school and beyond.
This report puts must-have student voice data in your hands. Combined with the professional understanding of your own students and school context, you have the knowledge and confidence to actively and intentionally build student resilience.
